What is underarm Botox for sweating?

Underarm Botox is a clinically proven treatment for hyperhidrosis — the medical term for excessive, uncontrollable sweating. Small amounts of purified botulinum toxin are injected just beneath the skin of each armpit, where they temporarily block the nerve signals that switch on the sweat glands. With those signals interrupted, the glands produce far less sweat in the treated area.

Unlike antiperspirants that you have to reapply daily, a single treatment keeps the underarms comfortably dry for months at a time. It is one of the most reliable, long-lasting solutions available for sweating that doesn’t respond to over-the-counter products.

Is it right for me?

If you experience visible sweat marks, ruined clothing, frequent changes of outfit, or anxiety about raising your arms in social or professional settings, you are an ideal candidate. Many of our London clients have tried clinical-strength antiperspirants without success before turning to Botox.

At your complimentary consultation we review your medical history, confirm the diagnosis of primary hyperhidrosis, and explain exactly what to expect so you can make a fully informed decision.

Your treatment journey

The treatment is fast and well tolerated. After cleansing the area, a series of tiny injections is placed across each underarm using ultra-fine needles — the whole appointment takes around 20–30 minutes. Most clients describe only minor stinging, and a numbing option is available for added comfort.

There is no downtime, so you can return to work or your day immediately. You will notice a marked reduction in sweating within 3–7 days, with full effect at around two weeks. Results typically last four to six months, after which the treatment can simply be repeated to maintain dryness.
